Meet Will
High School Will: They say most great tutors were great students first, and I’m no exception. I graduated 5th in my class at the best high school in Idaho with a GPA of 4.3, a 32 on the ACT (36 on the math section), with10 AP classes and one ASB Presidency under my belt.
College Will: Though I got into top-tier colleges, I decided to accept a merit-based full ride to Wittenberg University in Ohio, where I graduated Magna Cum Laude in 3 years (thanks to many 4s and 5s on my AP tests). As an English Major, I naturally worked in the Witt Writing Center, helping students to better craft their essays.
Post-College Will: My first job after undergrad was as a standardized test prep and math/science tutor at a Huntington Learning Center for a little under 2 years. While at Huntington, I helped students raise their ACT scores by up to 6 points and their SAT scores by up to 250 points.
LA Will:I came to Los Angeles in 2017 with dreams of film directing. I graduated from UCLA with an MFA in Film Production in 2023. Since 2021, I’ve been both a tutor and nanny for families around the LA area, specializing in homework help, ACT/SAT test prep, and college admissions prep.
Will’s Tutoring Philosophy: In my many years of tutoring, I’ve come to realize that students learn best from educators that they trust and respect. With Will the Tutor, your child will work directly with me, a smart, passionate, articulate, and professional educator, to achieve their academic goals.
